WhatsApp Direct is a simple, free tool that lets you open a WhatsApp chat with any phone number — without adding it to your contacts first. This is useful in dozens of everyday situations: contacting a seller from an online marketplace, reaching a business whose number you found on a flyer, or messaging a new acquaintance before you decide to save their details.
The tool works using WhatsApp's official wa.me link format. When you enter a phone number and click the button, it generates a link like https://wa.me/39333123456 and opens it directly. WhatsApp's own servers handle the rest — no third-party service is involved.
Select your country code from the dropdown, enter the phone number (without the leading zero — for example, type 333 123 4567 not 0333 123 4567), and optionally type a pre-written message. Click "Open WhatsApp Chat" and WhatsApp will open directly in the app or on the web.
Does the other person know I didn't save their number? No. WhatsApp does not reveal whether you have a contact saved or not.
Can I use this on desktop? Yes — it opens WhatsApp Web if you're on a computer, or the app if you're on mobile.
Is the number or message stored anywhere? No. Everything happens in your browser. We never see or store the data you enter.
